Work bench wasn't wide enough to support the main gear. Extend the table to support the mains. Now we can build and square-up tailwheel. The frame is starting to look like something.

Wheels and wheel cover installation
The process of getting the wheels ready to go on the axle took several days and lots of mental planning. First the wheels were "trued" by adjusting the spokes. Then tubes and tires were installed and balanced. Lots of time was spent thinking how to mount the wheel covers. In the end the inboard covers and brake drum was mounted with bolts spacers and "thin" nylock nuts.

Studs were made with threaded rod, "thin" nylock nuts were again used on the inside of the hub and nutted on the outside of the hub along with a jam nut. Then the outside wheel cover was placed on over the studs and held with washers and nuts.

Completed left upper wing compression struts, drag anti-drag cables. Tiffany heat shrinking cable ends. Upper, center, and lower wing spars complete.

Set right lower wing spar into right side of fuselage just to check fit.
