November 27 2017 - Finished lower forward fuselage cross and angle brace rib riveting. Turned fuselage over, re- jigged to begin top ribs/angle brace installation. Total build 5 hours

 

Fuselage is flipped and now begin working on top side of the fuselage...

November 26 2017 – Constructed vertical jigs, to level and hold fuselage sides. Coped 10 fuselage cross ribs. Cut and coped angle brace. Began installation/riveting of lower fuselage cross ribs and angle brace at forward bottom of fuselage. Total build 8 hours

November 25 2017 Drew plans for aligning R/H and L/H sides.  Inverted and stabilized R/H and L/H fuselage sides with jigs in preparation for building the bottom of the fuselage.  Total time 3 hours

November 23 2017 Bended and riveted plates on RH fuselage side.  Began planning for inverting fuselage sides to bottom of the fuselage. Total time 1 hour

November 22, 2017 Completed R/H fuselage side mirrored exactly to L/H side. R/H and L/H fuselage sides complete. Total Time 6.5 hours

November 21, 2017 Jigs, jigs, and more jigs, making the R/H fuselage side exactly mirrored to the L/H. Jigged, drilled, and riveted forward R/H fuselage side to mirror the Left.  Total Time 3 hours

October 27 2017

Jigs after L/H fuselage is completed and removed from the work bench and hung the newly acquired German flag.  

October 23 - Laid-out drilled and riveted all forward .090 gussets on L/H fuselage. Total time 4 hours

October 22, 2017 Wire spun brushed all L/H Fuselage gusset plates front and back. 
Total time 1 Hour 

October 22, 2017 - Evening Work...  Finished aft end of L/H side of fuselage. Cut and coped L/H and R/H diagonal rib F20.
Total time 1.5 Hours

 

 October 2, 2017 (2.5 Hours) Finished all vertical ribs for left and right hand sides of fuselages F12, 15, 17,

October 1, 2017 (5 Hours) Bent/formed lower left and right fuselage longerons. Fitted and coped vertical members F6, F7, F9 for the fuselage left hand side. Made duplicates for right hand side of fuselage.
